Brandon Puckett
Owner and Inspector
Brandon hails from Newnan, Georgia, where he grew up with his mother, father, and three sisters. He graduated from East Coweta High School and earned a diploma in Automotive Technology from West Georgia Technical College. While studying business management at the University of West Georgia, he envisioned himself as an entrepreneur one day.
Being the son of a carpenter, he fondly remembers assisting his father in building a porch and an additional room on their family home. This experience ignited his passion for fixing things, leading him to work in automotive services for the past decade.
While inspecting his and his wife's first home, Brandon and his father accompanied the inspector, who jokingly suggested, "We should go into business together." This playful comment sparked the creation of Lucky U.
In 2021, Brandon completed a property inspector course, equipping him with the essential knowledge and tools to deliver high-quality service that realtors, sellers, and home buyers can all appreciate.
Candace Puckett
Co-owner and Director of Operations
Candace hails from the Historic West End of Atlanta, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Georgia Southern University and later completed her Master's in Education, specializing in Professional Counseling in College Student Affairs at the University of West Georgia.
With over a decade of experience in Housing and Residence Life across five different college campuses, Candace is well-versed in conducting residential inspections. A key aspect of her role involved ensuring that residence halls met the necessary standards for incoming students. As an educator, she has facilitated numerous professional workshops, and her innovative marketing approach has garnered her several accolades.
Candace's educational background significantly contributes to her work at Lucky U Property Inspections, LLC, where she is dedicated to guiding each client through the home inspection process.
Her rich experience in student development, residence life, and marketing has made her transition into the role of Director of Operations a seamless one.
